We have been designing and manufacturing rainwater harvesting systems for over a decade. While we continue to follow the same principles of rainwater harvesting, our systems have evolved through knowledge, experience and the latest technology.
KingspanWater has its roots in the wastewater sector of Kingspan’s Environmental division.
In the late 1990s, the team involved with Kingspan’s renowned Klargester range of sewage and septic tanks received a growing number of inquiries from self-builders looking for tanks and components that could be modified for rainwater harvesting use.
Rudimentary devices made from adapted components rapidly evolved into professionally designed systems, meeting the demand from a small but growing number of consumers adopting a greener lifestyle.
The company’s Envireau system became one of the first 'package' range of rainwater systems designed and manufactured solely within the UK. Although initial sales were marginal, product development continued.
Factors such as ease of use, rapid installation and use of quality components became the hallmarks of the Envireau range – the same values associated with the mainstream Klargester range of tanks.
Inexorably, Envireau systems became installed within a broader and more complex range of construction projects with rainwater being put to use in an increasingly diverse range of applications - far beyond washing or toilet flushing.
For these commercial applications, Envireau returned to its bespoke beginnings; a specification-led ethos ensuring each component of the system was carefully selected to meet the particular building’s exacting requirements.
In 2008, Envireau joined other products drawn from across the Kingspan Group to form KingspanWater – the most comprehensive portfolio of rainwater harvesting products in Europe.
Today, KingspanWater has become the rainwater harvesting products of choice for home owners, developers and construction professionals aiming to deliver sustainable water to buildings spread across the construction sphere.
